The Department of Pediatrics at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, delivers healthcare to children through Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, and the Dr. T.M.A. Pai Health Complex at Udupi and Karkala, and offers the MD Paediatrics program. The department functions as four units — three general paediatrics units and one neonatal unit, each headed by a professor — and integrates inpatient, outpatient, and newborn care with community outreach, teaching, and research. Residents train within an ISO 9001:2008-certified and NABH-accredited hospital, gaining exposure to quality healthcare practices alongside core paediatric training.
