The Department of Medicine at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, under Manipal Academy of Higher Education, was established in the early 1960s and became an official academic department in August 1969. One of the largest clinical departments at KMC Manipal, integrates undergraduate and postgraduate education, comprehensive internal-medicine services, critical care, specialty clinics, and clinical research. - Conducted KAPICON 2020 in association with the Association of Physicians of India’s Udupi–Manipal Chapter, with 580 physicians and postgraduate students registered for the conference.
