Dr. Ranjan Pai

Dr. Ranjan Pai serves as President of MAHE Trust, Registrar of Academy of General Education (AGE), and Chairman of Manipal Education & Medical Group (MEMG), Bengaluru - one of India’s leading education and healthcare conglomerates. With a strategic focus on global collaboration, financial sustainability, and academic distinction, he has strengthened the Manipal brand across geographies.

Under his stewardship, Manipal Academy of Higher Education has earned national prominence, including recognition as an Institution of Eminence (IoE).

An alumnus of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Dr. Pai pursued advanced fellowship training in hospital administration in the United States. He began his leadership journey as Managing Director of Melaka Manipal Medical College, Malaysia, marking a milestone in Manipal’s international expansion.

Today, MEMG operates six universities and 28 hospitals globally.
