However, the continuing development of the tourism industry and its conflict with environmental protection has become a problem for many countries. Developing green hotels could be one solution to the problem. However, consumers' understanding of green hotels is quite limited. It was found that consumers were not clear about the characteristics of a green hotel. Different categories of consumers have different perceptions about a green hotel. Consumers hope to boost and improve green consumption while hotels hope to reinforce management and sales of green hotels. Underlying assumptions in team effectiveness research: An application of problematization methodology

his paper examines current assumptions underlying the team effectiveness literature so as to propose alternative assumptions. Problematization methodology was used to problematize the existing assumptions. Integral Framework was applied to categorize constructs of team effectiveness literature. Alternative assumptions were proposed along with a discussion on their theory generation potential and the potential audience to whom these assumptions would be of benefit. Results of the application of problematization methodology and integral framework have problematized the three current assumptions, i.e.“experienced meaningfulness”, “outside-in” view of team processes, and the impact of “structure on behavior” of team members.

A study on technique of inventory management system with respect to aviation spare parts

In the aviation industry, reliable spare parts supply is essential for continuous aircraft operations. This paper reviews one of the inventory techniques in the aviation industry. Spare parts that are of high value are repaired and returned to stock after removal from the aircraft. This study is to analyse the inventory level technique for helicopter spare parts used for manufacturing. Around 677 items are taken into considerations for analysing the inventory of one manufacturing unit. The paper represents inventory planning method that calculates optimum level of inventory management in aviation industry. This paper is based on exploratory research with secondary data collected from a company based in Thailand.

Entrepreneurial Potential and Higher Education System in India

Entrepreneurship education enhances the entrepreneurial potential of students, leading them to take up an entrepreneurial career. But, in India, a vast majority of youths with latent entrepreneurial potential are passing out of colleges without the needed basic entrepreneurial skills. The inconsistency towards entrepreneurship development policy is hurting the economy as a whole. The study analyses entrepreneurial potential of students and entrepreneurship education in the higher education system. It also examines whether there exists an alignment among them using the data triangulation method. The findings signify that entrepreneurial potential of students is on the upper side, and entrepreneurship education in higher education system is below average. The outcome of this study highlights the increasing need to focus on entrepreneurship education in higher education.
