Fee Structure

The approximate fees are shown below. There may be a variation in the fees at international institutions depending on the courses taken. The fees at Manipal University too are subject to change from year to year

  • Tuition fees for Year 3 and 4 will depend on the university to which the student will transfer. The above mentioned figures are approximate. Living expenses in both Manipal University and International campuses are approximate.
  • First year fee for Architecture and Aviation/Aerospace will be Rs. 3,59,500 and the following years fees will be based on which university to which the student will transfer.
  • The students who opt for BSc (Applied Sciences) degree and continue their studies at Manipal, have to pay the third year tuition fee as prescribed by the University from time to time.
  • Laptop computers will be given to all students admitted to this course.

Fee Refund Rules

No refund of fee is permitted on account of withdrawal/absence from college or any other reasons once the classes begin. Below are the details of refund if a student decides to withdraw before the commencement of classes. The details are as follows:

Manipal University’s decision is final on all matters related to fee refunds. Policies and regulations are subject to revision.


Students who meet the below mentioned criteria are eligible for the ICAS program:

  • Pass 10+2 (CBSE, ICSE, ‘A’ Levels, IB, HSC, OSSD, American High School Diploma or equivalent examination.
  • Minimum of 60% (aggregate) or ‘C’ grade in English, Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Electronics as optional subjects in the 12th standard
  • Students from Non-English medium of instruction are eligible to apply if the obtain a score of above 90 in the TOEFL exam
  • Engineering Drawing or Biology as optional subjects for admission to B.Arch
  • Students seeking admission to Architecture at ICAS need to have minimum of 80 out of 200 in NATA exam
  • Diploma holders (after 10th) are not eligible for the program


  • The ICAS program is open for all Indians, NRI/NRE and Foreign Nationals
  • Students can apply for the ICAS program before their 12th board results are declared and confirm provisional admission based on expected performance. Provisional admission letters will be issued to students willing and eligible to take up the program. However, final admissions will be provided after confirmed mark sheets and documents are verified based on 12th standard results in the above mentioned subjects
  • The twinning program duration in India is only one year for Architecture/Aviation/Aerospace Engineering
  • Students can continue in India for the 3rd year, leading to a degree in B.Sc. Applied Science
