Fees (for 2012 Batch)

Course/Tuition Fee Summary (Foreign/NRI category):

All students admitted will have to pay a one-time Registration fee of US$ 300 (non-refundable) along with the first instalment course fee. The Course Fee and Registration Fee has to be paid in US Dollars only. The Course Fee to be paid in equal annual installments. The break-up is mentioned in the Course Fee Summary.

The first instalment course fee plus the registration fee has to be paid to confirm admission as mentioned in the provisional admission letter/ offer letter. The other instalments of course fee should be paid annually.

Mode of Payment:

The course fee to be remitted by wire transfer/telegraphic transfer or bank draft/cashier’s check. Preferably wire transfer. Details for wire transfer or bank draft/ cashier’s check will be mentioned in the provisional admission letter/offer letter.

Refund Rules (for 2012 batch):

Generally no refund of fee is permitted on account of withdrawal/ absence from college or other reasons once a student is admitted to any course of study.

1. A refund claim may, however, be admitted on merit after due consideration of the request by the University. If approved, the amount to be refunded shall be within the limits stated below :

(i) Any time after admission but before 10 days from the date of commencement of the classes Total fees excluding registration fees of US$ 300 and processing fee of US$ 200
(ii) Any time thereafter and within 30 days from the date of commencement of classes 50% of the first instalment fee – Refund will be subject to the condition that the seat so vacated is filled up
(iii) After 30 days from the date of commencement of classes                 No refund
 (iv) Registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances  


2. In all cases where the student has been admitted to the course after the commencement of classes through the waiting list or otherwise, the number of days specified above will be reckoned from the date of ‘commencement of classes’ and not from the date of their actual admission.

3. Any student who withdraws from the course after the date of commencement of classes as mentioned in sl. no.1 (ii and iii) above will be required to remit to the University, in addition to the amount already forfeited, the course fee payable for the remaining period of the course.

4. All refunds will be made in accordance with Foreign Exchange Regulations.

5. All refunds will be processed by the Student Finance Office of the University upon receiving the approval from the Registrar of the University based on the recommendations from the Director, Admissions. Refunds will be made only after the candidate has surrendered the ID card, original fee receipt and the dues clearance certificate.
