Course Structure
Master of Public Health (MPH)
The duration of the course is 24 months, structured into four semesters of 25 credit hours each. Three semesters will be course-based, and the fourth semester will be research-based.
Certificate course in Public Health
The course duration is 6 months which includes 3 months on-campus, course based studies followed by 3 months of research based approach.
Master of Social Work (MSW)
The duration of the course is 24 months, structured into four semesters. First year training covers generic, foundational subjects and core social work subjects and in the second year it concentrates on specialisation. An integrated and concurrent field practicum is designed to, more closely, weave together the class room theory and field experience in a wide range of approved agencies and organisations in service and health settings. The research project is mandatory for all trainees in the fourth semester. After completing the fourth semester, the trainees are expected to undergo one month of internship. The curriculum provides an educational experience that is rigorous, comprehensive and progressive, preparing students for a range of advanced career opportunities.
