The department undertakes bioanalytical method development and validation as per international guidelines, DSC studies, GC-MS studies, fingerprinting of herbal formulations, qualitative chemical tests for herbal formulations, IR spectral analysis. Sample Analysis

The department of Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance supports the pharmaceutical research by undertaking the sample analysis of different drugs and other samples for those who do not have access to these sophisticated instruments. These are done at nominal cost for the benefit of researchers. We also support associate hospitals of Manipal University by providing analytical services of selected patient samples, thus giving valuable inputs for treatment regimen. Some poison samples are also analysed for the benefit of the community at large.
