Every year. the department organises health awareness programmes in various schools namely BM High School, Parkala, Academy higher primary school, Manipal
World AIDS day is observed every year on the first of December. Awareness programmes for the student & the public are organised
The faculty of the department is actively involved in organising conferences & workshops of MCON
Conducts monthly continuing education programmes for the department staff
