About the department

The department undertakes training of undergraduate nursing students. Students receive training in basic nursing procedures, which help them to provide basic care to patients. Students are given training in developing basic skills in the laboratory on simulated conditions before they are exposed to the actual hospital situation. The faculty of the department provides good teaching- learning exposure to the students.

Laboratory facilities

The department has six mannequins which act as simulators for the students to practice basic nursing skills. The laboratory is spacious with all the modern equipment as per norms.
