Introduction:
The Department of Community Medicine has a total duration of 2 ½ years in the curriculum as follows:
Semester 6-8: Community Medicine
Semester 9-10: Family Medicine

Department activities:

• Consultation in the out-patient clinics: (Monday to Thursday): Primary care medicine in Ujung Pasir Health Centre
• Workshops / Seminars on Quality Assurance, research methodology conducted with the State Department of Health, Melaka and both Hospital Melaka and Hospital Muar.
• Clinical Research Committee of Hospital Melaka - assisting in research methodology by staff of Hospital Melaka
