At the end of the undergraduate programme, the medical student shall be able to:

1. Recognise 'health for all' as a goal and health right of all citizens by undergoing training for the medical profession, fulfil his/her social obligations towards realisation of this goal.
2. Learn every aspect of national policies on health and devote himself/ herself to its practical implementation.
3. Achieve competence in practice of holistic medicine, encompassing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of common diseases.
4. Develop scientific temper, acquire educational experience for proficiency in profession and promote healthy having.
5. Become exemplary citizens by observation of medical ethics and fulfilling social and professional obligations, as to respond to national aspirations.
