DURATION, STRUCTURE AND TEACHING-LEARNING APPROACH
The curriculum of the MMMC undergraduate medical programme is a five-year academic programme of 10 semesters Recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council. Local needs/requirements have been taken into account and the appropriate adaptations to the course content have been implemented.
TOTAL DURATION REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE DEGREE
Of the 5 years training programme, the first two and half years (5 semesters) are conducted in Manipal, India and the final two and half years (5 semesters) are conducted in Melaka, Malaysia. The programme in Manipal is termed Phase I while that conducted in Melaka is termed as Phase II.
