The term of office of the representative of the MBBS courses shall be for one year, commencing from the starting date of the academic year for that batch.
The term of office of the representatives of Clinical, Refresher and Premedical batches shall be the duration of their respective courses.
In case the post of representative falls vacant in the middle of a term, another suitable student from the same batch may be elected to complete the term of office.
Any representative who is not willing to take up the office that is assigned to him according to the constitution is free to resign from the post of class representative. A new election may be held for the same post in the class.
