The MMMC student council will comprise of one male and one female representative from each batch having 30 or more students at the time of elections. Batches having 29 or fewer students at the time of elections will have only one representative, either male or female.

The representatives of respective classes shall be selected by unanimous vote or by elections held in each class.

In the event that no nominations are put forward for elections for the post of representative, the faculty council shall nominate any student in that batch who is eligible to hold such a post.

The representative of the Senior Stage 2 batch with the better academic record at the University examination(s) shall be the Secretary.

The representative of the Junior Stage 2 batch with the better academic record at the University examination(s) shall be the Joint-Secretary.

The representative of the Senior Stage 2 batch who is not the secretary of the council shall be the Treasurer.

The representative of the Junior Stage 2 batch, who is not the joint-secretary of the council, shall be the Joint-Treasurer.

A student with more than one failure at the university examinations shall not be eligible to occupy the post of class representative.
