The President shall call for the regular meetings of the student council at least once a month, with the consent of the Dean and faculty advisors.

The proceedings of the student council shall be recorded and maintained by the Secretary.

All decisions taken by the student council shall be by majority vote.

Faculty advisors shall not have voting power in the student council

Any decision of the student council must be presented to the faculty council for approval before implementation. Faculty may request the student council to re-consider any decision, which, in their opinion, may not be in keeping with the higher interests of the academic programme.

The council may authorise the President to invite other students as special invitees to attend specific meetings of the student council that pertain to activities such as Orientation, Sports, Cultural Programmes, Competitions and Magazine publication. Such invitees shall not have voting power in the student council.  Such students shall fulfil the same eligibility criteria as the members of the student council.
