What are the Lecture hours?
8.00 - 5.00 Monday - Friday.
Is there a break in between lectures?
Yes. Morning, 10.00 - 10.30 and in the Afternoon, 12.30 - 2.00.
What about lab work and tutorials?
Lab work normally 2-3 hours and tutorial normally 1-2 hours per day.
Assignments given?
Yes.
Would I require a typewriter or computer for preparing assignments?
Normally not needed, if required it is available at the college library.
What are teaching methods?
Lectures, Lab Work, Problem Based Learning, Spot test, Viva and Self Study.
Do students face any learning problems?
If you are consistent in your work, you should not face any undue problems.
Is there learning assistance available?
Lecturers are always ready and available to help us.
Are there library facilities available?
We have an excellent library with Reference Section, Study Hall, Computer Facilities, Journals and Open Shelf.
Library hours in Manipal?
9.00 a.m. - 11.00 p.m. Daily.
Can I borrow books and materials?
Yes, but not always.
What happens if I return the books and materials late, or they get lost?
Library regulations apply.
Are there any Photostat facilities available?
Yes. In the library.
