Yes. Its 220V.

You may bring along an electric jug kettle. Iron is not required as there is economical and efficient laundry service available at the hostel.

You may not need computer for academic work; however it might be useful for communication and research. There are ample computing facilities available in the campus. A laptop might be a good choice to bring.

Internet cafés and cyber cafes are available in Manipal town. In the campus you can be accessible to computers and Internet in many places including hostels. All students are given an Email address at the Library.

Some students did bring their own computers, but they were not well used. You may bring a laptop if necessary, for communication and research use.

No problem. For Email we have so many Cyber Cafes in Manipal and also computers available in the University Library.
