Clinical Research in the division of Clinical Radiology is supported by an infrastructure consisting of the Head of the department and two clinical research coordinators, Dr. Rajagopal and Dr. Avinash. These members perform retrieval and analysis of data in the radiology information system for clinical faculty (a) for retrospective studies and (b) to initially explore whether pilot projects are feasible. Both hold medical degrees and provide traditional research coordination.

All research studies utilising Diagnostic Imaging hospital/ affiliated facilities imaging equipment or research studies requesting a Diagnostic Radiology clinical research coordinator must be reviewed and approved by the Head of the department. This website is intended to help clinical researchers to obtain information for conducting productive imaging research.
