The Pulmonary Function Laboratory (PFT) provides diagnostic screening services that assist our medical staff in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions such as:

• Asthma
• COPD
• Pulmonary Fibrosis

Bronchoscopy Unit

This department has both rigid and flexible video bronchoscopy facilities.  Bronchoscopy is very useful for diagnosis of suspected lung tumours.

Flexible Bronchoscope is useful for both diagnostic as well as therapeutic application. Procedures like Bronchoalvelar Lavage, Endobronchial Biopsy, Brush Biopsy and Transbronchial Biopsies are done for the diagnosis of various respiratory conditions like Tuberculosis, Bronchogenic Carcinoma, Interstitial Lung Diseases etc.
