1. State of the art computer lab with nearly 13 computers which facilitates hands on training to Undergraduates, Post graduates and Faculty in Research Methodology and Biostatistics.
2. Two air conditioned classrooms with access to all audio visual aids and fitted with LCD projectors.
3. 2 Demonstration rooms / Laboratories with a seating capacity of 125 students for conducting practical sessions.
4. The rural outreach centres are equipped with mobile generators, inverters and a portable ultrasound facility.
5. Faculty and students of the department have access to printers / fax / scanner /photocopier/ camera which aid in effective teaching learning activities, developing health education materials as well as is conducive to carrying out research.

Rural Field Practice Area

Covers a population of over 47,000 spread over 11 villages in the coastal area of Udupi taluk and a population of nearly 25,000 in 5 villages of the neighbouring Karkala taluk.
