Demo Room

The Demo room measures 110.38 sq. m and is equipped with the most modern facilities such as chairs, an OHP, Slide Projector, LCD projector, TV, Video and such other AV aids to accommodate 125 -150 students.

Student Laboratory

The Student Laboratory is used for examination of specimens, tests and Forensic Histopathology; serology, anthropology and toxicology: 300.88 sq. m.

The laboratory has different facilities which include monocular student and binocular microscopes, research microscopes and other equipment required for undergraduate teaching purposes.

Autopsy Block

The Autopsy Block measures a total of 363.00 sq. m housing a gallery type autopsy room which can accommodate around 60 to 70 students at a time, and a 12 cadavers capacity modern cold chamber with facilities such as a strong room for preserving the viscera, a changing room for duty doctors, ante-rooms, washing facilities, toilets, a waiting hall, fully equipped office etc. There are two autopsy tables, and all the standard mortuary requirements including four sets of autopsy instruments, Stryker saw, electronic weighing machine, dead body weighing machine, instrument cabinet, instrument trolley, filing cabinet with folders, filing cabinets for almirahs etc. The mortuary block is located in the Govt. District Head Quarters Wenlock Hospital at a distance of half a kilometre from the main department in the college. The mortuary is also shared with the department of pathology.

Staff Rooms

The department has well furnished staff rooms with facilities providing laptops to each faculty member. Wi-Fi internet connections are accessible to every faculty member directly. Faculty rooms are organised as mentioned below with an adequate number of toilets and wash rooms:
