The department also prides itself in its research output. Over the past two decades, the staff has presented or published research papers of stature. Twice, in its brief existence staff from the department has been awarded TMA Pai Gold Medal for Best Research. Scientific outputs from our staff have found wide media coverage, with major newspapers and magazines featuring some research break through. From Jan 2006 to date, the department already has over 100 publications and 40 conference presentations.
