Background/ Past experience:
Dr. K.V.M. Varambally has more than 25 years of academic experience. He has worked at the Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore, a premier research institute in the country, for five years and T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal for about fifteen years. He was the head of the department, at MIT before taking charge as Director, MIM in June 2002.
