We firmly believe that ICT is an important component in teaching, learning and research activities of the institute. MIM has been continuously upgrading infrastructure to ensure that students and faculty have seamless access to all digital resources. The institute is connected to Manipal University’s campus wide network that enables students to access digital resources in the other institutions of the Manipal University. The university provides laptops to faculty and students to support their learning and research needs.

We have a well-equipped networked computer lab with 60 Pentium PCs. Facilities such as scanners, printers and CD writers are also available for peripheral support. The institute has several digital subscriptions such as Capitaline, Emerald, EBSCO to provide students and faculty access to latest business publications. The lab is equipped with the latest software applications including SPSS, TALLY, Progen ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Microsoft Project, Oracle etc.

Manipal University has got high speed Internet gateway of 30 Mbps through BSNL's STM ring, 10 Mbps from Bharti and 4 Mbps from VSNL's gateway - all in one Manipal campus, to meet the Internet requirements of faculties and students. All the institutions under Manipal group are behind Domain Controller and Active Directory (AD) infrastructure to support group policy implementation and remote management services. Students and Faculty of MIM have access to this internet infrastructure and email services. Students have access to wireless broadband Internet services branded as I-ON.
