Mr. Kiran Aithal B, Senior Research Fellow (ICMR), was awarded with the “Best Poster Presentation Award” for the paper entitled “Cytotoxic And Clastogenic Effect Of Juglone  against Melanoma Cells – An In Vitro Study” at the International Conference on Radiation Biology & Translational Research on Radiation Oncology held at Jaipur from Nov. 10-12, 2008.

Mr. Roshan Mascarenhas, a research scholar from MLSC, was awarded the ‘Young Scientist Award’ for his work on ‘Cytogenetic and Molecular Evaluation of Bilateral Childhood Cataract’ during the International Symposium on Ethics, Culture and Population Genomics and 34th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Human Genetics (ISHG) held at New Delhi in March 2009.
