What is the research facility at MLSC? How are students exposed to such facility?
There is a clear bifurcation lab meant for research and teaching purposes. The infrastructure is excellent comprising animal cell culture and plant cell culture facilities. The centre is thriving on the excellent research faculty, facility and resources; aiming to become the nation's number one research and learning centre. The centre conducts international conferences and workshops for promoting new enthusiasm amongst young scientists.

Can foreign students take admissions in MLSC? What are the career options for them? Does MLSC have collaborations with other research bodies?
Yes. The centre has MOUs with Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR), Flinders University and University of Queensland in Australia and Lancaster University, UK. It has research collaboration with various institutions in United States, Germany, The Netherlands and Australia.

I am not interested in research. Can I still join MLSC in the Life Sciences Centre?
Yes, of course there are many opportunities in the industry, which requires production and management skills in the field of Life Sciences. Many pharmaceuticals and biotech industries have opened recently. So job opportunities are tremendous in these fields.

Describe the teaching methodology at MLSC?
We have experienced professors and scientist who can guide students theoretically as well as practically. So that they get rigorous training both practical and theoretical aspects.

Is there is any project opportunity in curriculum?
Yes we do have 9 months of project in the post graduation, where the students are trained in state of the art laboratories and instrumentation containing Mass spectrometry, HPLC, Flow Cytometry, DNA sequencer, PCR etc.
