ELIGIBILITY

CITIZENSHIP: Indian nationals can apply under the General category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI Relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI category.

QUALIFICATION: Candidates must have passed BE/BTech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science or any other relevant branches in Engineering/MCA/MSc in computer science with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

ADMISSIONS

GENERAL CATEGORY: Admissions are done on the basis of merit in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET)-2012

FOREIGN/NRI CATEGORY: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Candidates can apply either under General category or F/NRI category. Those submitting applications under both General and F/NRI categories will be considered only under the General category. Change of category at a later stage will not be entertained under any circumstances.

SCHEDULE

The MU-OET 2012 will be held between 23.05.2012 and 17.06.2012. The candidates can select the test schedule of their choice in Online Test Booking System.

MERIT LIST

GENERAL CATEGORY: Based on the marks obtained in MU-OET 2012, Manipal University will declare a common merit list which will be displayed on or before 16.06.2012 in the website.

All candidates possessing a valid GATE score will be given 10% additional marks and ranked in the merit list. Candidates with GATE score must enclose the photocopy of their GATE score card along with the FORM, without which the additional marks will not be awarded.

FOREIGN/NRI CATEGORY: A separate merit list of the applicants under the F/NRI category will be prepared based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and those selected for admission will be informed separately.
