The MS course in IT Management is designed to meet the present day needs and promote the vision of management of growing IT resources that have taken the world by storm.

The students clearing this course will be able to join software and hardware companies as technology/IT analysts, business analysts, technology consultants, etc.


Electives: There is a provision to study 3 electives in the first year. One elective in the first semester and two electives in the second semester. Students have the liberty to choose their electives based on personal interests and the market demands.

The most remarkable feature of this course is the inclusion of Research Methodologies as a subject. Management related subjects like Marketing Research, Quantitative and Qualitative research will be needed to asses and understand the need and prominence of the technologies at hand. This inclusion will help the students fathom the intensity of the vast field Technology Management.

Semester 4 will involve project work which will be carried out in an industry or university or an R&D organization. Students are encouraged to do the 4 - 6 month project work during their 4th semester in an industry for which the college will provide their assistance. In certain cases, interested students can take up the project work in the college as well. Sufficient infrastructure will be provided to them to carry out the project
