  •  Who can join MCIS?
    Students who have completed BE/ B. Tech in CS/ E&C/ E&E/ Bio-medical/ IS/ IT/ Telecommunications take up MS courses. Students who have studied BSc/BCA etc join for MSc courses.

  • Can we pursue research after MS?
    Yes, you can.

  • Can we take up teaching jobs?
    Yes, you can take up teaching jobs after MS or MSc course.

  • What are the statistics of placement for the current year?
    The highlights of August 2009 – July 2010 project batch are as follow (as on July 13, 2009):

  • Is it mandatory to intern at the company?
    No, it’s not.

  • Do we get rooms in the hostels?
    Most of the students get rooms in hostels, subject to availability of rooms.

  • What are the various career options after studying at MCIS?
    One can pursue Phd, join the industry, teach or become a scientist, to name a few. One can also start his own company.

  • What is the teaching methodology at MCIS?
    We use conventional classroom teaching methodology. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. Compulsory seminars add to the communication skills of the students. Digital library and internet is widely used for teaching. Interaction with industry through mini projects exposes students to the industry requirements.

  • Can a foreign student apply to MCIS?
    No. Only Indian nationals and NRI students can apply for our courses.

  • Is it a co-educational college/ girls college/ boys college?
    It is a co-educational college.
