Having joined a professional course, students may face a number of situations that place several demands on them, physically and psychologically. At certain points of time, one tends to feel stressed. That is the time a Counselor can be of help. Talking to a Counselor would relieve their tensions and thus help them get back on their feet again. Certain personal issues might interfere with their work and normal functioning. Peer groups may sometimes be unable to understand them. Leaving home and adjusting to a new environment might also be a cause of stress. A Counselor can help them feel more comfortable in their new set-up. The Counselor is the person a student can turn to whenever they need to discuss their problems.

The Student Counseling Center provides total privacy to students who need guidance and counseling. All matters discussed are kept strictly confidential.
