Institution Health Service: In-House Clinic
Many a times, the students may be in need of medical advice for incidental indisposition. Hence the student needs medical intervention without the routine academic matter being affected. To facilitate it an “In-House Clinic” is available at the institution premises for students during the working hours.

All students are provided with medical insurance that takes care of their health needs for the duration of their program. Students are encouraged to make use of the facilities available at the multi-specialty, 1750 bed Kasturba Hospital. The Medicare number is the same as the Identity Card Number of the student. Student should report to the Student Health Clinic located in the basement of the OPD (Out Patient Department) in the Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.

In the event of injuries the students must report to the Trauma centre and for all other emergencies to the Casualty Department. The students are advised to seek medical help without delay and also ensure that their mentor is informed either personally or through friends about their indisposition.
