A language laboratory is being set up in the Innovation Centre. A group of 60 students can be accommodated in the audio-visual room to practice English pronunciation and accent. The language laboratory can be used as a language- training centre, where audio-visual aids will be available for language teaching and learning, presentation skills, group discussions, body language, etc. The activities to be conducted at the language centre will help the learners develop intelligibility and confidence in their speech. As an access centre, the proposed language laboratory will be open for English language learners and teachers of other institutes for consultation on language learning skills.

The language training centre will also meet the requirements of young graduates, of rural areas, in preparing them for job interviews, C.V. writing and group discussions. A short term course on Personality Development is conducted at regular intervals in the centre. The emphasis is on developing decision making skills, social etiquettes and stress management.
