We strive to provide students a holistic education which encourages them to apply their minds and think out of the box. We solicit support from the parents by way of advising their wards to concentrate on their studies and to abide by the institute rules to maintain discipline in the campus.

The new academic year 2010-11 – semester classes will commence from August 02, 2010. We would like to draw your attention to the following:

Staying in MIT Hostels is optional for PG students of MIT, Manipal.
  2. Students staying in the MIT Hostels are not permitted to possess / drive any form of mechanized transport on the campus. In case, your ward already possesses such vehicle, please arrange to take back the vehicle before the commencement of new academic year (July 2010).
  3. The rules & regulations of the institute and academic calendar are enclosed, for your perusal. You are requested to advise your ward to strictly adhere to these regulations for maintaining peaceful academic atmosphere in the institute / campus conducive to higher studies and personal growth.
  4. Ragging is a criminal offence as per the Supreme Court verdict. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and any student found guilty of this, will be punished severely as defined in the institute regulations. You are requested to get the enclosed undertaking in the above connection, filled by your ward, duly signed by the student as well as yourselves and send it across to The Director, MIT, Manipal – 576104, before the commencement of new academic year 2010-11.
