Placements
The Associate Director (Industrial Liaison, Placement & Practice School) sends campus recruitment invitations to prospective companies to visit the campus for recruiting UG & PG students. Based on mutual convenience, the date of visit is finalized. The placement activity for 2012 – 2013 batch starts from 1st week of Aug 2012.

Internship
B.Tech students: The UG students as part of the practice school activity are available for internships in their 8th semester (starting from January 2013) for duration of 4 – 6 months. Companies hiring interns are invited to visit the campus anytime during Aug – Nov, 2012.

PG students: The PG students are available for internships in their 2nd year (starting from Jun 2012) for duration of 1 year. Companies hiring interns are invited to visit the campus anytime during Jan – May, 2012.

Facilities for conducting Campus Recruitment:
• Seminar Halls for Pre-placement talks
• Central computing facility for conducting on line tests
• Spacious halls (centrally air-conditioned) for conducting written tests
• Two mini conference rooms (20 seater capacity) for conducting group discussions
• Individual cabins and cubicles (centrally air-conditioned) for conducting personal interviews

Accommodation & Travel facilities
On request, the accommodation facilities will be arranged at Manipal University Guest House (subject to availability), in addition; the Pick-up & drop from the airport / railway station can also be arranged. In case of non-availability of guest house accommodation, the placement office will assist in booking accommodations at available hotels in Manipal / Udupi on payment basis. The request for the above facilities must be made atleast 3 days in advance.
