Department offers research programs in all the areas of Control system and Space technology. Main areas of research going on are, Robust Control, Nonlinear control Systems, MEMS & Nanotechnology, Hybrid dynamical systems and biomedical signal processing and Instrumentation. Four Phd students are being guided by the Head of the Department Dr. V. I George and one candidate got awarded the Ph.d degree recently from Manipal University. Four of our faculties are registered for PhD studies and the department has a vibrant research team. Department has also secured research grant from DST funding.
