7 faculty members obtained Ph.D degrees and are continuing their research work by guiding research students. 7 more are registered for Ph.D work in reputed institutions. Faculty members published over 135 papers in national/ international journals and conference proceedings. The department is organising conferences, workshops and staff development programmes. Currently 2 research scholars are with the department.
