Welcome to the department of Computer Science and Engineering. We at the department of CSE believe that learning is a continuous process and does not end with the acquisition of a degree, especially because steady and rapid advances in computing technologies shorten the life of tools and techniques prevalent today. Students are given a strong foundation in computer science and problem-solving techniques, and are made adaptable to changes. We aim at offering the best quality education. CSE-MIT offers doctoral, postgraduate, undergraduate programs that owe their emergence to the relentlessly growing demand of professionals with expertise in various fields of Computer Science. These programs have been planned to offer a blend of computers, communication technologies and other information retrieving/processing tools so as to provide the student with the requisite know how for solving real life problems, thereby enabling them to enter the world of opportunities with flying colours.

At CSE-MIT, we lay great emphasis on the emerging, interdisciplinary, cutting-edge areas of research. Our faculty members are already involved in interdisciplinary research efforts. We believe that this approach to teaching-learning, coupled with practical experience gained during Industrial Training and Practice School Project work in reputed organizations, equips our students to handle the challenges posed by the IT industry. I am confident that our students are worthy of any organization. I ardently admire the faculty members and supporting staff who work in an exemplary team spirit to enable the Department to grow to great heights, and hope this continues with the same zeal in the future too.
