Tie-up with professional bodies

The department encourages the students to participate in various technical and cultural activities to improve their overall personality. Students participate in the technical activities organized by MIT (Techtatva) and the student chapter of I.I.Ch.E.

Most of the faculty and students are members of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) Mangalore chapter. Mr. Harish Kumar ( harish.kumar @manipal.edu ) is the Faculty advisor for student chapter of IIChE.
