A national-level symposium christened “SYMBIOT-2009” was organized during 29-30 March, 2009. The symposium attracted young minds from all over the country and included well-attended guest lectures from visiting scientists from leading institutions. Paper and poster sessions were conducted and the best exhibits were awarded. From the response of the student community, the event is planned to be conducted regularly as an annual event of the department.

SYMBIOT-2010 and 2011 was conducted during 29 – 31 March 2010,14-16 April 2011,respectively.
