Anuradha Swaminathan, II year M.Tech student in Biomedical Engg. bagged the “Outstanding Intern” Award from Philips Healthcare, Bangalore, for her work titled “Removal of calcification from arteries in coronary CT Angiography data”.

Student of Fourth year Biomedical Engineering, Abhinith K. Ambastha, along with two third year students of Computer Science and Engineering, Karthik Mandaville and Saurabh Suman, have written a Facebook Application "Autobudder" by which friends can be wished on birthdays automatically without logging in. This application was selected by ACM and has been incorporated by Facebook Corp in its Facebook application.
