Responsibilities:

Worked as Site Engineer in Kodehma Constructions under Hindusthan Construction Company at Mangalore for 2 years. Thereafter, joined the Planning & Construction department, MIT as Junior Engineer. Subsequently promoted as Asst. Engineer, Asst. Executive Engineer etc and served till 1999. I was then assigned teaching responsibilities in addition to my responsibility as Resident Engineer and designated as Sr Lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department. During my service, I took up construction and development activities in the campus. The department is responsible for formation of proposals, preparation of design and drawings, cost estimates and execution of construction/ maintenance works through various agencies. The department also looks after sewerage system, recycling of waste water, landscaping and horticulture works.
