• Joined MIT, in 1986 as a Supervisor and now working as Officer-in charge from 1996 onwards

Responsibilities:

• Looking after the day to day complaints received from Powerhouse I, II, II IV and V ( Transformers 10 nos D.G. set 10 nos and Automatic Panel board 1 no.)
• Looking after day to day complaints from Pump houses – College, Ojas, Ladies Hostel and 14th Hostel Block
• Follow up getting Municipality water supply to pump house daily. If not, make the arrangement for tanker water
• Maintaining Submersible pump – 23nos in MIT campus
• Checking the Electricity bills and water bills before sending to Hostel Blocks, Accounts department and individual consumers like banks STD booths etc
• Follow up the purchase requisition / letter to Central store for getting the material in time
• Making estimation and getting approval for Panel board wring work at College, Hostel Block Departments and Plumbing work in MIT campus from Director MIT, / DGS MU Manipal
• For any major work and break downs and staff matters etc. appraising to Director, MIT/ GM, MSFM on day to day basis all matters concerning the maintenance
