Healthy children bright smiles by the dept. of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry at the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry Conference October 2003, New Orleans, USA. Department of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry participated in Colgate, “Bright future Bright smile” contest, submitting 17 years of work on school health programme. Thirty countries participated in this International contest organized by International Association of Pediatric Dentistry, of which we were among the six finalists. We bagged the first prize, winning the “Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Future” award.

Guest lecture on Invincible Composites by Prof. Ashima Valiathan at the American Association of Orthodontists Conference in Orlando USA in May 2004 at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

As a part of the Symposium on “Women in Dentistry”, Dr. Shobha Tandon was one among the 4 invited guest speakers to represent India at the women’s symposium at FDI World Dental Congress, September 2004. She gave a talk on “General health of women affecting the quality of oral health.”
