CDE (Continuing Dental Education) programmes are regularly organised by the department. Some of them conducted during last academic year were

  • “Complete Denture Made Easy” by Dr. Chandrashekaran Nair sponsored by 3 M ESPE at MCODS, Manipal on 12th May 2008
  • “Functional stomatognathic system” by Dr. Chetan Hedge at MCODS, Manipal on 27th September 2008

 

Special Programmes

The department is actively involved in conducting free denture camps every week for poor patients from rural areas. All the clinical procedures are done in a single day instead of usual 5 to 6 appointments.
