Prakaya 
 A college fest hosted by the Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences (MCOAHS) at the planetarium complex in the month of November, 2008. MCODS, Manipal was represented by twelve students from 2nd and 3rd BDS, who took part in the ‘Literary cultural and Dramatics’ events. The fest lasted two days in which more than 14 college teams from Manipal and Mangalore participated. The students of MCODS, Manipal took no time to prove them selves to be a notch above the rest by winning seven major events. The competition began with the event, ‘Icebreakers’, a short skit in which all twelve team members participated, our team depicted a day in the life of a ‘freshie’ in Manipal with noteworthy performances by Rushil Dang, Saloni Munot and Manvendra Singh. At the end of the event, MCODS, Manipal reigned superior by winning numerous events.

Utsav 
MCODS finished second runners-up in the cultural extravaganza of the university in 2008. It saw our cultural talents being discovered.

Voila
The event was organised as a fresher’s night in 2008 to welcome all the new freshmen students to the institute. The night included cultural shows along with interaction between the newcomers and senior students.
