Our college is committed to provide the best possible help to the new students during their transition. To help these students cope with the new environment, new curriculum, university and college life style, these students are allotted with mentors.
A mentor is generally from the staff of the college or from among the senior students, who is experienced and can guide a student in personal and academic related matters.
The objectives of the mentor cell are:
- To facilitate networking of the students with fellow students
- To help students cope with the academic activities
- To give advice and guidance, share ideas, and provide feedback as and when necessary
- Share information on "success mantras" within the college
- To provide support on personal issues if appropriate
