2009

  • Dr Akshat Mahajan, MCODS, Mangalore bagged the Ist rank at the KCET examination held in the year 2009
  • Mr Shyam Gattani, student of MCODS, Mangalore has been selected in the squad of 16 to tour UK and Scotland in July, 2009 by the star cricket club, an affiliation to the Mumbai cricket association which in turn is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India. (BCCI)

2008

  • In the prestigious AIIMS post graduate entrance examinations held in the month of April, 2008 out of the top 3 ranks, 2 ranks have been bagged by Dr Poonam ( 1st rank) and Dr Anika Daing (3rd rank) of the Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore
  • Dr Amit Yadav of MCODS, Mangalore bagged III rank at the prestigious AIIMS post graduate entrance examinations held in the month of November 2008
  • Dr Varun Arya was awarded the "TMA Pai gold medal" for the best outgoing student at the convocation of the Manipal University 2008

2007

  • Dr Neha Gupta won the best paper award for her presentation titled “Crown Morphology& Central Papilla Recession” at the 15th IAACD conference held on 12th to 14th Oct 2007 at Jaipur
  • Dr. Shakti Singh, PG Student, won the 2nd Best Clinical Paper Award (students section), at the 11th IOS PG Convention held in AIIMS, New Delhi on February 25th, 2007
  • Dr. Monica Mehendiratta, postgraduate student received Dr. R.V Mehta award for the best scientific paper presentation at the XVI National Conference of the Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists held at Khajuraho, from 17th to 19thDecember, 2007
  • Dr. Nair Ashish Shashikant, Internof Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, has bagged the second prize for securing the highest marks at the national level in the subject of Preventive and Community Dentistry for the year 2007-2008. The prize has been awarded by the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry (IAPHD) at the 13thNational Conference of the IAPHD on the 18th of November 2008 at Hyderabad
  • Dr. Astha Chaudhary, Intern of Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore received certificate of appreciation for scoring highest marks in the subject of Oral Medicine & Radiology at National level by Indian Academy of Oral Medicine & Radiology at Chennai for the year 2007-08
  • Dr Astha Chaudary, U.G. student of Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore received the felicitation award in the subject of Periodontology by the Indian Society of Periodontology for the year 2007

  • Two out of five ranks at the AIIMS pg exams
  • 2nd rank in Kerala state post graduate entrance exam
  • Four out of 88 ranks at the all India pg entrance exams
  • 28 out of 60 ranks at the KCET exams
  • 20 out of 100 ranks at the COMED exams
