The Prosthodontics department consists of a pre-clinical laboratory with 100 student capacity. The laboratory has gas connection and burners attached to each table. A phantom head lab for pre-clinical practices for students is also available.

The prosthodontic clinic is equipped with 40 modern dental chairs, a general clinical area for undergraduates and postgraduates and a special examination room for faculty. A full-fledged chrome cobalt and ceramic lab with the latest equipment is available for laboratory/ technical work. A sterilisation room, with flash autoclave and sterilisers, is used for infection control protocol. Internet facility, a separate post graduate room, intern’s room, research room and staff room are attached to the main clinic. The department library has more than 56 books concerned with the speciality. The department is provided with the latest impression material and equipment. 10 Semi- adjustable articulators with face bow, two dental casting machines, two acrylizers, two surveying units, a Pindex system, two porcelain furnaces and IPS empress all ceramic unit are a few in the list. The centrally airconditioned Phantom Head Laboratory helps the student work better and efficiently.
