Oral Medicine and Radiology is taught to students of the third and fourth year with emphasis on case history recording, general and local examination, diagnosis, treatment planning and dental management of medically compromised patients. Students are taught to take different intraoral radiographs and interpret them. Various extraoral views, special imaging techniques and their indications are demonstrated. Students are encouraged to present case reports and seminars on various topics in oral medicine and radiology.
